I think one can view education not only as a process by which one learns a field or discipline, but also as a process by which one learns what they find interesting. I finally decided that my original plan of writing my own blog software and doing my own visual design for the site was completely infeasible with all the other (more interesting) things going on right now. I also decided I had a few free hours and I might as well install WordPress and Hemingway since they were pretty close to the ideal software I’d write anyway. And here we are. More… »
